Twittergate: Which Radnor Basketball Account is the REAL One?

As you probably heard, Chet & I have gotten the green light to cover Radnor Basketball in an official capacity this year. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you in the #RadnorBasketballFamily on a personal level as I learn the intricacies of a new sport.

 As any Journalist would do when assigned to a new case, I went to twitter.com to do my research. I was very unnerved to find not one, but TWO Radnor Basketball accounts! Which one should be trusted? How high up does this go? Why is Chet banned from BOTH of the Starbucks in Wayne? These unanswered questions left me reeling, so I decided to launch an investigation.

Suspect #1: Radnor Basketball (@RadnorHoops)

I realize that both of these bios say "Official" but only one of these accounts can be telling the truth. Both accounts have a compelling argument. @RadnorHoops takes the edge on appearances with a bio that makes me want to run through a brick wall for the #RadnorBasketballFamily. On the other hand, @radnorbball has the follower edge, even though it is only by 1. But as the Jason Bourne trilogy has taught us, it only takes one man to change the world.

It also must be known that both accounts declined to respond when asked to comment.

The Verdict: Only one of these accounts are followed by the #1 trusted source for high school sports. The Delaware County Daily Times. And that is Radnor HS Basketball (@radnorbball). This evidence, along with the fact that the other account has been inactive for 2 years, leads me to this decision. Thank you to all of those who willingly (and unwillingly) participated in this investigation. Consider this case: CLOSED.

Central League Football Bubble? Who Say's No?

I don't know about you guys (and girls), but I am JONESIN' for some high school foot ball. If this were any normal year, I'd be busy  hiding in the bushes  scouting training camps throughout the region to defend my title as Radnor Rundown First-Team Radnor Football Insider. But due to corovid-19, I am stuck at home watching re-runs of American classics such as Ridiculousness and Man vs. Food (ONLY the Adam Richman episodes).  As you all know, the Central League made the disappointing decision to postpone fall sports last Friday, contrary to what I was hearing from my friends at the Wawa in Wayne. My Journalism style is entirely bassed on keeping my ear to the ground and my finger on the pulse of the great people of Radnor, but I need to do a better job of vetting my sources.
